West Ham are reportedly interested in signing Scott Arfield from Burnley this month.
The Hammers are looking to bolster their squad in the January transfer window and, according to a report from the Independent, they are eyeing Canadian international.
Arfield has been at Burnley for some time now and has been a consistent performer for the club over the years. However, although Sean Dyche seemingly holds him in high esteem at Turf Moor, he is a rotational option for the Clarets.
The 29-year-old’s contract at Burnley expires at the end of the season and although Burnley would like to retain his services, West Ham are claimed by the Independent to be willing to offer Arfield improved terms.
Hammers boss David Moyes is understood to be keen on adding Premier League proven quality to his squad and is a big fan of Arfield, who has been playing for Burnley since 2013.
West Ham would reportedly be willing to spend £2 million on the former Huddersfield midfielder.
