West Ham United goalkeeper Joe Hart has criticised his team after their “terrible” performance against his hometown club Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup third round, according to a report on the Evening Standard.
The Hammers drew the game 0-0 and face a replay against the League One side but Hart believes that his side were lucky not to lose the game.

The Englishman was required to make some top quality saves as the players in front of him seemed to lack the passion and desire to advance into the next round of the FA Cup.
Hart also revealed that the players cannot use fatigue as an excuse to put in such a sluggish performance.
Hart said:
We were terrible today and Shrewsbury were really good. We didn’t play well. We had three games in a week and there were opportunities for the lads, including myself.
I can’t blame fatigue. There was some terrible football played today and we lost a lot of battles.
The Hammers went into the game on the back of two positive results after beating West Bromwich Albion and drawing against Tottenham Hotspur.
David Moyes’ side are now 15th in the Premier League table but face an unwelcome extra game when they face Shrewsbury at the London Stadium for a replay.
