West Ham are reportedly plotting to make an audacious swoop in January for Benfica striker Raul Jimenez.
According to a report from Portuguese news outlet Record, as cited by HITC, the Hammers are keen to bring the Mexico international to the London Stadium in the coming weeks and could make a bid worth £25 million.
Jimenez was subject to plenty of speculation during the summer transfer window, with Everton having reportedly had a late approach turned down by Benfica.

However, it seems the Liga NOS side are willing to part company with the forward and £25m could be enough to tempt them into a sale.
Jimenez, formerly of Atletico Madrid, has struggled at Benfica this season. He is yet to score a single goal and has made only one start all season for the club.
The 26-year-old is understood to be open to a move away from Portugal in the mid-season transfer window, which is sure to give West Ham encouragement in their apparent pursuit to land him.
