West Ham are reportedly looking to make a surprise move for Borussia Dortmund attacker Andre Schurrle.
According to a report from the Guardian, the Hammers are keen to land the experienced German on a loan deal from Dortmund until the end of the season.
The 27-year-old has only played a sporadic role with the Bundesliga outfit this season, which has prompted speculation over his short-term future at the club.
David Moyes is keen to recruit fresh faces in the January transfer window as he looks to push on in the second half of the season with the Hammers.
Schurrle has experience of playing in England having enjoyed a relatively successful spell with Chelsea. Although he was used as a rotational option by the Blues, he turned in many positive displays.
The experienced attacker is capable of playing in a range of positions. He can play as a striker and also as a left winger.
