With West Ham still in the bottom three despite Saturday’s London derby win over Chelsea the need for reinforcements is vital as they look to get out of trouble and maintain their Premier League status.
As reported by the London Evening Standard co-chairmen David Sullivan has promised the fans that there will be two or three signings in January.
Speaking in the clubs program ahead of the match against Arsenal tomorrow night he insisted that David Moyes will be backed in the window.
David is still weighing up the areas we are short in but you can be rest assured two or three players will be brought in to improve the team. Before then, we have players available again after injury, with more set to return soon, too, so there is competition for places.

Moyes is expected to want to move for a defensive midfielder after missing out on Sporting Lisbon’s William Carvalho in the summer.
