West Ham eyeing up move for Dunk

According to the Mirror, David Moyes wants to bring in Brighton’s Lewis Dunk as first new signing as West Ham boss.

Dunk has impressed for newbie’s Brighton this season, with many tipping him for an England call-up very soon. He has been a rock at the back for The Seagulls this season and there was no doubt that he’d be linked with a move away from the club after impressive performances.

With the long-term injury to Jose Fonte and Angelo Ogbonna not looking like his former self after his injury, new boss, Moyes, wants to bring in a fresh face to partner Winston Reid at the back for The Hammers.

Dunk signed a new 5-year-deal with Brighton in August, meaning a sizable price-tag will be needed for Dunk to Brighton from West Ham but The Hammers have the leakiest defence in the league this season, meaning the big fee will be worth it for a player like Dunk.
