West Ham have officially confirmed that Robert Snodgrass has joined Aston Villa on loan.

The Scotland international joined the Hammers only in January for a fee in the region of £10m from Hull City. However, he has not enjoyed much success under Slaven Bilic, and was therefore allowed to leave this summer.
Snodgrass, who now joins Villa for the rest of the season, will be hoping to revitalise his career following a stagnant tenure with the Hammers, in which he failed to convince.
The Scotsman is likely to receive the first-team football under Steve Bruce that he would have struggled to find under Bilic this season, and will be determined to help his new side back up to the Premier League.
