West Ham, West Brom and Burnley chase Abdul Majeed Waris

West Ham, West Brom and Burnley are all reportedly chasing Ghana international Abdul Majeed Waris, according to the Daily Mail.

Majeed Waris joined Ligue 1 side Lorient in 2015 from Turkish club Trabzonspor and has scored a total of 21 goals in 58 appearances for the French side.

The Ghana international has made 22 appearances for his national side, scoring four goals, but would require a work permit if he was to secure a move to the Premier League.

The Premier League trio of West Ham, West Brom and Burnley are said to be interested in bringing the £12million rated striker to England, having all made enquiries about the player last week.

Majeed Waris can operate in the number nine role or be played out on the wing.

West Ham have already bolstered their attacking options with the signing of Javier Hernandez this summer, but may target Majeed Waris as another forward option for the upcoming season.
