West Ham and Everton have suffered a blow in pursuit of Senegalese midfielder Badou N’Diaye as Turkish giants Galatasaray have moved ahead of both teams in the race for his signature according to turkish-football.
Although it is believed N’Diaye is wanting a move to the London Stadium, Galatasaray are close to making a deal to keep the 26-year-old in the Super Lig.
It’s been reported for a while West Ham are keen on the midfield man, especially now they are thought to have lost Cheikhou Kouyate for the start of the Premier League campaign this season.
Whilst a bid was rejected by his current side Osmanlispor, both linked Premier League sides are still believing they can secure their man.
The interest from the Hammers and Everton was due to N’Diaye’s successful campaign last season, scoring seven goals and creating three assists. The Senegalese man can play in an attacking midfield role or out on the wing and the versatility was thought to be of interest to the claret and blue side in particular.
West Ham and Everton have both been very busy thus far in the window and are both still looking to add firepower to their squad’s before the start of the 2017/18 Premier League season.
