West Ham have reportedly lodged an opening offer to sign Genoa winger Diego Laxalt.
According to a report from the printed edition of Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport, as cited by Sport Witness, a €10m offer has been submitted by the Hammers as they look to bolster their attacking options.
Laxalt struggled to make a genuine impact in Serie A last season with Genoa, scoring just once, and picking up four assists in the process.

However, the former Inter Milan man is undoubtedly a talented player, and West Ham are touted with interest in the Uruguayan.
Slaven Bilic has already landed Marko Arnautovic for a club-record fee this summer, and he plays in a similar area to Laxalt. It looks as though the Croatian manager could be keen to bolster his attacking options further, and the 24-year-old winger may be one man under consideration.
Laxalt secured a move to Genoa from Inter Milan for around £7m last summer, and could be on the move again just a year later.
