West Ham United have suffered a huge blow in their pursuit of Lazio forward Keita Balde Diao as the striker has reportedly agreed a deal to sign for Serie A giants Inter Milan, according to Football London.
The forward has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, with both West Ham and Chelsea strongly interested in securing his services.
However, it seems that the striker prefers to stay in Italy after being so successful in the Serie A last season with Lazio.

The 22-year-old striker managed to get his name on the scoresheet an impressive 16 times as he took the Italian top flight by storm last term.
There is no official agreement between Inter and Lazio yet for the transfer of the Senegal international which has meant that Hammers’ boss Slaven Bilic is still hopeful of luring the forward to the London Stadium.

The forwards seemed open to a move to England, but reports now suggest that he would prefer to stay in Italy and Inter are offering him that chance.
The player has fallen out with his current club Lazio after they didn’t allow him to play in their friendly match. This led the star to tweet about his frustrations.
