The 29-year-old Mexican has been rumoured, as have many other forwards, as a West Ham target this summer but it seems as if the Hammers are finally closing in on a striker.
Currently playing for Bayern Leverkusen, he managed 13 goals in all competitions and that caused many teams to chase after his signature this summer.
With London rivals Chelsea briefly linked with the ex-Manchester United star, it seems the London Stadium side have beaten them to a deal.

It is thought ‘Chicharito’ is demanding around £140,000 a week which is a lot more than the highest earners at the club, so David Sullivan is reportedly in discussions with the Mexicans agent today to finalise personal terms.
