Stoke ready to demand near £30m for Arnautovic

West Ham appear to have identified Stoke City’s Marko Arnautovic as a key target this summer, and the player himself is evidently keen on the move.

The Austria international has submitted a formal transfer request to Stoke in the hope of sealing a move to the Hammers. However, Slaven Bilic has already had two bids worth £15m and £20m turned down by the Potters.

It’s claimed by the Mirror today, though, that while Stoke want to keep hold of one of their key players, they would be willing to part ways with him – for a fee of around £30m.

The 28-year-old hasn’t enjoyed the best of seasons in recent times, but has undeniable ability. West Ham are keen to bolster their front-line and have picked out Arnautovic as a key component in their plans for the coming campaign.

However, if they are to land the versatile attacker this summer, they will need to cough up a club-record transfer fee.
