West Ham’s hunt for a striker has already been rumbling on for some time now, and Javier Hernandez is a man that has been heavily linked with a move.
The Bayer Leverkusen man is valued at just £13m and could be set for a departure from Germany this summer, with a host of clubs claimed to be interested.
However, according to Dean Jones in an article from Bleacher Report, the Mexican international is ready to demand a huge pay packet if he is to join West Ham.

Jones reports that Hernandez will demand a wage worth around £140,000 per week – a deal that would make him the club’s highest paid player.
The 29-year-old is claimed to be keen on returning to the Premier League this summer, having enjoyed a considerably good spell with Manchester United previously.
Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with a move, but West Ham’s interest appears to be most concrete.
