Hammers linked with move for Sardar Azmoun

West Ham are in the market for a new striker and the latest name to be linked with a move to the London Stadium is Iranian Sardar Azmoun of FC Rostov.

As per a report from Tasmin News, the Iranian international, who has previously been linked with Arsenal and AC Milan, wants a move to a higher level and West Ham are interested in him.

Azmoun was involved with 18 goals for FC Rostov last season and played in their Champions League games, where he scored two goals.

Dubbed the ‘Iranian Messi’,  the 22-year-old is regarded very highly by his Iranian coach in particular.

He is improving all the time. He has to keep his feet on the ground, If so, he could be a real star of Iranian and Asian football for years to come.

As we all know, West Ham are crying out for a striker, and preferably one that stays fit, and if reports are to be believed Azmoun has joined a list of other targets that include Javier Hernandez, Cedric Bakumbu and Kelechi Iheanacho, time will tell which forward the Hammers are able to bring in.
