Hammers given negotiable Ozyakup price

Turkish champions Besiktas have told West Ham that captain Oguzhan Ozyakup will cost €20 million, however The Hammers may be able to negotiate less, according to ASpor.

It is reported that former Arsenal man is stalling over a new Besiktas contract, amid reports West Ham are eyeing a swoop for the midfielder, and looking to bring him back to the Premier League.

Hammer’s boss Slaven Bilic spent time working with Ozyakup once before, when he managed the 24-year-old during his stint at Besiktas. Now, Bilic is said to be wanting a reunion with the player at the East London side.

Besiktas want to keep hold of their skipper, but with 12 months left on his contract, they may have to negotiate a lower deal with West Ham before the summer window shuts.

Ozyakup made 40 appearcnes for Besiktas last season, scoring 5 goals, as he helped the Turkish side win the Super Lig for the 15th time.
