Serie A club Fiorentina have expressed their interest in West Ham midfielder Pedro Obiang and are prepared to make a bid, according to a report in Calcio Mercato.
The Spaniard was also targeted by Fiorentina in the January transfer window and Fiorentina are keen to secure his services before the new season commences.

Obiang, who used to play for Sampdoria in Serie A, is seen as a perfect replacement for Milan Badelj, who is almost certainly going to be leaving Fiorentina this summer.
Obiang, 25, has become a regular for Slaven Bilic’s side and made 30 appearances in all competitions for the Hammers this season. He managed to score one goal and registered one assist.
However, it is his work rate off the ball which is what Bilic admires. Obiang is Europe’s most efficient tackler, winning 88% of his tackles. This proves how valuable his presence is in midfield which is why West Ham won’t let him go easily.
Obiang has experienced the Serie A, which is what is convincing Fiorentina to make an approach for the defensive midfielder. He joined the Hammers for €6million in the 2015 summer transfer window so the London club will listen to offers of about £15million.
