West Ham to eye quality over quantity this summer

West Ham’s head of recruitment Tony Henry says the Hammers only need two or three signings this summer to get them back to where they want to be.

Henry has been responsible for pushing a number of transfers through in recent windows, including last summer’s disappointment.

This summer Henry has said that Bilic wants quality over quantity “We need two or three, maximum. If we can get the ones that we want, I think we’ll be a really good team next year.”

Henry proceeds to speak about the process he and his team go through to find the players and he also believes that the London Stadium will be a huge pull for players considering to join us. “Obviously London is a massive thing for players, but obviously the new stadium, players come and they love it.”

Considering last years transfer business, it is understandable that fans have lost some faith in the board and the scouting team but I believe in Tony Henry as he says he thinks his team will get it right this time round, and I certainly hope so.

It’s rumoured that our first signing could be coming soon but we will just have to wait and see whether West Ham can turn their fortunes around and revive up the table for the new season.
