West Ham have reportedly stepped up their interest in Lyon winger Rachid Ghezzal ahead of a potential summer move.
The Algerian international has been catching the eye of several teams across the continent over the last year and his future in France remains uncertain to say the very least.
Now, according to an exclusive report from the Daily Star, Ghezzal is high up on Slaven Bilic’s transfer list and the tricky winger is a serious target for the summer.
The Hammers have been cited with interest for a long time now, but it looks as though they’re ready to intensify their pursuit of signing the 24-year-old when the summer transfer window opens.
Ghezzal will be available on a free in the next couple of months as his contract with Lyon expires, but it’s understood that Ligue 1 leaders Monaco are leading the chase to win his signature.
Everton have also been reported with a long-term interest.
