West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has delayed his hip surgery until the summer, at least.
The Hammers’ boss requires an operation on his hip, but has claimed that he simply does not have the time to go under the knife.
The procedure would require him to rest for around six weeks, but Bilic would rather concentrate on the end of West Ham’s season – which could be just as painful.
It was a season full of hope and optimism at its beginning, but an early exit from the Europa League and a bleak Premier League campaign has changed the outlook of many around the club.

West Ham are currently on 38 points as they slowly drag themselves over the 40-point mark for the season to all but ensure their survival.
Speaking to The Telegraph, Bilic said this:
“My hip is nothing worse than it was last year. I don’t have time [for surgery]. You need six weeks for the operation – but I am not a player!”
The damage to his hip might be as big a blow to his personal health as losing Payet was to West Ham’s season, but Bilic is ready to see it through to the end of the season – unlike the now Marseille midfielder.
