West Ham want Dimitri Payet to repay the £1 million he was handed after Euro 2016 before they confirm his exit from the club.
The Hammers have confirmed that a fee has been agreed between the two clubs as Payet closes in on a £25 million return to his former club.
According to the Mirror, the controversy surrounding the £1 million bonus is among the final details holding up the deal.

Interest in Payet was high following his impressive performances at this summer’s Euro 2016, but the midfielder was handed a bumper new deal, which included the huge bonus in the hope of keeping him at the London Stadium.
Payet has cited family reasons behind his wishes to return to Ligue 1, after rejecting big money moves to the Chinese Super League, but West Ham want the player to prove it is not about the money.
Ligue 1 leaders, OGC Nice were also linked with a move for the French international but Payet looks set to seal his return to Marseille.
