West Ham officials will reportedly meet with Marseille club president Jacques-Henri Eyraud to hold talks about the player’s immediate future.
The player has been linked with a return to the Ligue 1 club after refusing to play for West Ham following their poor form this season.

Payet decided to reject moves away from the club during the summer and was handed a new bumper contract at the London Stadium, but Slaven Bilic confirmed the player is now unhappy at the club.
Bilic had stated that the club refused to sell the player, as they do not want to be forced into selling their best players.
However, it appears that they can’t afford to not give into the playmaker, who was linked with big-money moves in the summer.
Marseille had a £20 million bid rejected for Payet during the week but the Hammers will demand nearly double that as they seek around £35 million.
