After a disappointing first half of the season, the January transfer window could be a key turning point for West Ham. The Hammers have not only struggled with scoring goals this season but have also struggled to stop goals. They’ve conceded the sixth most in the league, 35 goals in 20 games.
West Ham currently doesn’t have a natural right back that is up to the standard of the Premier League, Bilic has been forced to play the likes of Havard Nordtveit and Michail Antonio arguably out of position there.
Italian, Angelo Ogbonna has also looked very out of depth at centre-half and Reece Oxford has just returned from a long-term injury.
There are a few defenders that may be on the Hammers wish list but whether we are able to recruit them is a different story.
Here we look at not only signings that we would like to see but also signings that may actually be possible.
