Evra weighing up his options amid West Ham interest

Juventus defender Patrice Evra is weighing up his options this month amid interest from West Ham.

According to a recent report from the printed edition of Gazzetta dello Sport, via Sport Witness, Evra is considering either a move away to West Ham or La Liga side Valencia, or simply remaining in Turin until the end of the season.

The experienced Frenchman’s future has come under a lot of doubt in recent times as a result of the lack of consistent playing time, with a shock move back to the Premier League being touted.

West Ham could do with greater defensive depth this month as they look to bolster their squad ahead of an important second half of the season.

The Hammers will need to consolidate their place in the Premier League in the next six months after a shaky start to the season, and they’ll be hoping that signing Evra can provide an experienced head in the squad.
