According to a report from The Mirror in recent times, Bundesliga outfit Red Bull Leipzig are lining up an audacious swoop for West Ham youngster Reece Oxford.
The 17-year-old is extremely highly rated in East London and is certainly one of West Ham’s most promising young assets, so they will be more than keen to keep hold of him for years to come.
However, he has not really been getting as much playing time as he will have hoped for in the opening three months of the season so far.

Leipzig have emerged as the surprise package of the German top flight though and they’re certainly showing themselves as the place to be for young development in European football.
The Bundesliga side are currently sitting in second place of the table and have built a reputation for developing young, British players, as shown through their tuition of young Scottish international Ollie Burke.
After failing with a £10m move for the England youth international back in the summer, the Mirror believe Leipzig will return with a new offer in January and if he continues to refuse to sign a new contract the Hammers could be forced to cash-in.
Oxford could be key for The Hammers in the future and they’ll be keen to prevent any move away from the London Stadium.
