West Ham to return for Bacca in January

According to Calcio Mercato, West Ham are set to go back in for Carlos Bacca in the January window.

The report says that Bacca’s future at AC Milan is very uncertain at present and that he could be on the way out of the door during the winter window.

West Ham are said to be renewing their interest in the forward after multiple failed attempts to land him in the summer.

The Hammers agreed a €30m fee for Bacca in the summer but were unable to convince him that a move to the Premier League with West Ham was the right one.

However, Slaven Bilic will face fierce competition for his signature. Valencia and PSG are both said to be keen on the Colombian as well, with PSG manager Unai Emery having managed him at Sevilla.

West Ham have had a troubled start to their Premier League season and a signing of Bacca’s stature could be just the boost they need.
