According to an emerging report from Danish news outlet Bold, West Ham defender Doneil Henry has suffered a tear to his anterior cruciate ligament whilst playing out in Denmark for AC Horsens on loan and will miss the rest of the season.
The 23-year-old has been building a reputation for some good performances out in Denmark for Horsens, so the news of his injury comes as a crushing blow to both them and the player himself.
The Canadian was substituted during the match after just seven minutes, as he tore his ACL in his knee in the weekend’s fixture against SønderjyskE.

Henry impressed during his loan tenure with Blackburn Rovers last season and was appearing to continue his good progression out in Denmark prior to this crushing injury.
Horsens manager Bo Henriksen has also spoken of his disappointment to have lost Henry to such a devastating, long-term injury.
We are very sorry to lose Doneil Henry, who is both a very talented footballer and a great human being.
He has a huge potential and insane skills and I have absolutely no doubt that he gets what he wants, because he has all the prerequisites to achieve it. We wish him the best of luck.
Henry will now return to London with West Ham to receive treatment on his knee.
