West Ham have confirmed the signing of Simone Zaza on a season-long loan from Juventus last on Saturday night, Jack Sullivan states.

It was the worst kept secret in football for well over 48 hours with Zaza’s girlfriend and entourage posting on social media of their adventures in London and even photos from them inside the Olympic Stadium, but now the deal is finally done.
The financial aspects of the deal? Well, Sullivan confirms that the Hammers are paying a £5m loan fee for the season to sign the Italian international striker, a move which will become permanent when he ‘plays a small number of games’ for West Ham.

The fee for his permanent transfer should he play the certain amount of games stands at €20m (£17m) plus add-ons, taking the total cost of the deal well beyond £22m, which would make him the club’s new record signing in due time.
A five-year contract has been agreed with Zaza if the move becomes permanent.
Zaza leaves Juventus just one year after signing from Sassuolo, scoring five goals in 19 appearances.
