Simone Zaza could be on his way to Napoli, with Gianluca Di Marzio reporting that representatives of the Juventus striker have visited Naples to hold talks about a potential move. The 25-year-old is also being linked with a move to West Ham, who’re looking for a solution to their growing striker injury crisis.
Zaza struggled after moving back to Juventus on a permanent last summer, starting just five Serie A games since. He now seems set to leave Turin for a second time, with several clubs interested. The Hammers have reportedly been in contact with Juve about completing an initial loan deal with a view to purchase next year, while Napoli have decided to contact the player first.

However, Napoli’s move depends on the departure of Manolo Gabbiadini from the club. Everton are chasing the Italian forward, who has scored 13 Serie A goals since moving to Naples from Sampdoria in early 2015, but are yet to actually make a move for the 24-year-old. Should they come in for Gabbiadini, then Partenopei are lining up a move for Zaza.
West Ham have already begun negotiations with i Bianconeri, after injuries to strikers in recent weeks – Andre Ayew and Andy Carroll have both picked up lengthy injuries since the Premier League restarted. Zaza is one name linked, as well as Manchester City’s Wilfried Bony, who could join until the end of the year.
