Everton have seen a €10m bid rejected by Lyon for winger Rachid Ghezzal this summer, who is also wanted by West Ham and Arsenal according to Goal.
The Algerian is yet to sign a new contract with the Ligue 1 club and with his current deal expiring next summer he has been heavily linked with a move away from the club.
Today, manager Bruno Genesio confirmed that the 24-year-old has been demoted to the reserve side where he will continue training until his future is resolved.
West Ham have made two bids worth £6.2m and £7m for Ghezzal this summer, both turned down with Lyon looking for nearer €15m (£13m) to part ways with the attacker this summer.
Lyon are hopeful that he will sign a contract extension with the club this summer but Ghezzal has so far rejected all offers from Lyon because they are not up to his demands.
