Bilic confirms West Ham looking to make one more signing

Slaven Bilic has confirmed this morning that West Ham hope to make one more signing this summer.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Monday night’s trip to Stamford Bridge to play Chelsea in their Premier League curtain raiser, Bilic was asked whether he would be looking to add more players to his squad despite having welcomes eight new recruits to date.

Bilic went on to confirm that the club will “100%” not go for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, while confirming the club expect to sign Jonathan Calleri from Deportivo Maldonado and he will join up with the squad soon, pending his work permit hearing, after Argentina were knocked out of the Olympics last night.

It’s believed Calleri is not the extra player Bilic has spoken about when looking to add to his squad, seeing as that deal has been in the pipeline for some weeks. Expect West Ham to enter the market once again for a bargain deal or a trademark deadline day loan move.
