Ghanaian striker Asamoah Gyan is available for loan from Chinese outfit Shanghai SIPG.
The 30-year-old made the move to China last year and has endured an injury-ridden spell on the east coast.
Making just 20 appearances, Gyan has only found the net seven times. According to local media, his struggles have pushed him down the depth chart and into the reserve team.
With the arrival of Brazilian forward Hulk, the club have agreed to allow a loan opportunity for Gyan with West Ham leading the chase.

Gyan made 34 appearances for Sunderland in just one season in the Premier League during the 2010/11 season, scoring ten goals in what was as of this moment, his only spell in English football.
One of the most successful players in the history of Ghana, the national team captain has won 95 caps, scoring 48 goals.
West Ham had previously been enquiring as to obtaining the signature of Gyan, and now manager Slaven Bilic may have his appetite renewed, safe in the parameters of a loan deal.
