The clash with Juventus marked the “official” unveiling of our new stadium and it was a tough test against one of the world’s best club sides.
After battling heroically, we eventually lost the game 3-2 courtesy of Simone Zaza’s late strike but the game was about much more than the result. A combination of fatigue from Thursday and a general lack of full match fitness meant that a number of youngsters were given a chance to shine against some high-quality players.
