According to today’s print issue of Il Corriere dello Sport, West Ham have launched a €15m bid to sign Sampdoria striker Eder this summer.
West Ham were first linked with a move for the Italy international last month following a series of impressive displays at Euro 2016.
The versatile forward joined Inter on an 18-month loan in January from Sampdoria for a fee of £1.7m, and still has another year to run on his loan contract.

However, it’s believed Inter Milan are considering terminating that loan deal (if a replacement is signed) after Eder failed to impress in the half-season he spent at the San Siro, scoring just once in 15 appearances.
That came after Eder netted 12 goals in 19 appearances for parent club Sampdoria between August and January. He never settled in at Inter and manager Roberto Mancini would be open to replacing him.
West Ham have offered €15m to Sampdoria to sign Eder on a permanent basis, but any deal would require the blessing of Inter to terminate the loan contract.
The Hammers are in discussion with Inter currently about signing Davide Santon on loan. The former Newcastle defender has flown to London today to hold talks and to take a medical ahead of a season-long loan switch with a view to buy next summer.
