According to the Daily Mail, West Ham have turned their attentions to Inter Milan defender Davide Santon.
The Hammers are closing in on a loan deal for the defender, which has taken their interest away from Norwich defender Martin Olsson.
The 25-year-old was close to a move to Sunderland earlier this summer, but a move broke down at the last minute.
West Ham are in the market for a left-back, with Aaron Cresswell currently out of action for the next four months.
West Ham are therefore ready to give up on signing Norwich defender Martin Olsson with the report claiming that West Ham are loosing interest in the deal, due to Norwich’s demands.
Norwich want a fee of £5m for the left-back, which West Ham deem too high. They have already had bids of £3m and £4m turned down by the Norfolk side.
Olsson was thought to be one of their main targets, but that ship appears to have sailed.
