Napoli are believed to be eyeing a move for AC Milan striker and West Ham target Carlos Bacca, should Gonzalo Higuain league the club this summer.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, The Serie A side will get in contact with Bacca’s representatives over a potential switch should a suitor for Higuain make an offer near Napoli’s asking price.
The Argentine striker has made his intentions clear that he will not sign a new deal withe Napoli due to ‘broken promises’ with his current contract still having two years to run.
Higuain’s release clause reportedly stands at £78.5m – a fee no club is currently willing to match. However, should an Arsenal or another interested club do so, Napoli will reach out to Bacca’s representatives over a move.

TMW confirm that, as of yet, there has been no contact between Napoli and the Colombian striker, who is holding off on accepting an offer to join West Ham in a £25.6m deal.
AC Milan want the sale to go through as soon as possible so they can conduct transfer dealings of their own, and omitted the 29-year-old from their pre-season tour squad which Bacca didn’t take kindly.
West Ham hope to have a definitive answer one way or another from Bacca over the proposed move by the end of the week.
