West Ham are facing stiff competition from Premier League champions, Leicester for signature of Toulouse striker, Wissam Ben Yedder.
According to the Guardian, the Foxes have registered an interest in the forward who is believed to be available for as little as £8.3million as he approaches the final year of his contract with the Ligue 1 side.
The Hammers have held a long-term interest in the 25-year-old and have turned their attention to him after failing with bids for the likes of Carlos Bacca, Michy Batshuayi and Lyon forward, Alexandre Lacazette.
Crystal Palace have also been known to have an interest in the striker but Claudio Ranieri’s side will be able to offer him Champions League football, something both Palace and the Hammers cannot at this stage.
A move for Ben Yedder would allow West Ham to complete a deal that would see Enner Valencia leave the club with both Swansea and Lazio rumoured to be interested in his services.
