West Ham are one of multiple teams that have been put off by the £65 million price tag Everton have put in Romelu Lukaku, the Daily Mail reports.
The Belgian has expressed his desire to leave Everton to win trophies, but Everton are reluctant on letting their star player go. Originally costing them £28 million in July 2014, the Toffees will only sell for for £65 million.
West Ham and Crystal Palace are two of the clubs that the Daily Mail says have inquired about the 23-year-old, but neither side are able to pay the asking price. Even Chelsea are said to be backing out of their interest, and have signed West Ham target Michy Batshuayi.

Lukaku spent a year on loan at Everton from Chelsea before signing permanently in 2014. He has also made appearances for Chelsea and West Brom, while starting his career as Belgian side Anderlecht.
West Ham have already signed Havard Nordtveit from Borussia Monchengladbach and Sofiane Feghouli from Valencia this transfer window.
