According to an emerging report from Italian news outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, West Ham have suffered a setback in their pursuit of AC Milan forward Carlos Bacca.
The report states that the Colombian’s talks with the Hammers have stalled for now as he turns down their latest contract offer and awaits offers from La Liga duo Valencia and Atletico Madrid in order to allow him to weigh up his options before making a move away from the San Siro.
It was yesterday reported that a deal between West Ham and AC Milan had been agreed, with a reported €30m fee for the 29-year-old however, it now looks as though there has been a breakdown in negotiations.

Bacca is currently demanding for a wage of €4 million per year after tax plus bonuses, which works out as £65,000 per week; a considerably large wage for the striker.
However, the East London club are currently only offering €3.5 million per year after tax, which is short of Bacca’s demands at £57,000-a-week.
West Ham could now look to move on to other potential striker targets.
