West Ham targets Niang and Suso could stay at AC Milan

M’Baye Niang and Suso, both linked with West Ham this summer, could both be set to remain at AC Milan despite heavy transfer links, according to Tuttosport.

Milan manager Vincenzo Montella has been impressed with the two attackers and their versatility and wants to give them another chance to make a name for themselves at the San Siro next season.

West Ham had been eyeing the France U21 international Niang this summer as a possible arrival should they miss out on several other targets, but the £14.6m-rated forward is now unlikely to leave.

The Frenchman has had an injury hit season due to a broken metatarsal along with several muscular injuries along the way but still managed to be a consistent performer for Milan last season, netting eight times in 21 appearances.

West Ham, along with Sassuolo, Villarreal and Real Betis have all made offers to AC Milan to sign attacking midfielder Suso this summer following an impressive loan spell with fellow Serie A side Genoa last season.

The 22-year-old wasn’t a regular at Milan either, making just eight appearances in 12 months before joining Genoa on loan for the second half of the 2015/16 season where he began to show his true colours scoring six goals and recording two assists in 20 Serie A outings.
