Lazio midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has been linked with a move to West Ham this summer, according to Nigerian source Today.
The 23-year-old holding midfielder was used in a more rotational role by Lazio last season, making just 14 starts in Serie A and 22 appearances in total across all competitions.
It’s believed the 38-time Nigeria international could be off this summer as there are clubs out there willing to offer him regular first-team football. Premier League sides Swansea, West Ham and Sunderland as well as Greek giants Panathinaikos have all been linked with a move.

However, Super Lig champions Besiktas have this week made an offer for the midfielder as a possible replacement for Canadian Atiba Hutchinson, who is believed to be nearing a move to West Ham himself.
“The club (Besiktas) held a meeting with Lazio for Onazi. In the meeting, they presented a formal offer for the 23-year-old footballer,” Turkish outlet Fanatik said.
The Serie A side value Onazi at £7m and would consider a sale of their valuation is met in full.
