According to a recent report from the Evening Standard, West Ham are weighing up a move for Napoli attacker Manolo Gabbiadini.
The news of The Hammers’ interest in the Italian comes after reports emerged suggesting that the club had rejected the chance to sign former Arsenal and Manchester United forward Robin van Persie this summer as they look elsewhere for striking options.

Reports regarding West Ham and potential new attacking signings have been coming thick and fast, with van Persie and AC Milan forward Carlos Bacca emerging as the most recent targets for Slaven Bilic and his men.
Gabbiadini is now the latest name on the potential striker shortlist for West Ham to consider, with the Italian’s forward in his homeland coming under increased scrutiny as a result of the interest from elsewhere.
The striker, who is also capable of playing just in behind, managed to score a fairly underwhelming five goals in all competitions last season; mostly from the bench, albeit.
