Real Madrid are believed to be preparing a mega €60m bid to sign West Ham star Dimitri Payet this summer.
According to Italian source Tuttosport, Real Madrid held talks with Payet’s agent yesterday in London regarding a summer move after the Euros and have mentioned the possibility of launching a €60m bid.
West Ham signed the Frenchman for £10.5m last summer from Marseille which is now looking like a snippet of his true value having seen his performances over the last 12 months which have earned him a recall to the national side.

He has been the shining light for France too at Euro 2016, scoring the 89th-minute winner in their opening game against Romania, then the second in a 2-0 win over Albania in their second fixture. France topped the group following a draw with Switzerland.
Real Madrid want to make some big moves this summer and are locked in talks over a world-record move for Payet’s France team-mate Paul Pogba of Juventus, but are also looking to bring in the 29-year-old.
West Ham are understood to have placed a £60m price-tag on Payet’s head this summer to deter European giants from making a move, but Madrid look set to test their resolve with a bid in the coming weeks. This transfer saga will likely rumble on throughout the summer.
