West Ham are eyeing up a move for Manchester City striker Tyrese Campbell, according to The Mirror, via The Daily Star.
West Ham and Arsenal are both thought to be interested in the young striker, who is set to quit Manchester City next month when his schoolboy contract ends. Campbell has rejected scholar terms at City as he doesn’t have faith in the club’s system to develop him.
This has led to interest from both West Ham and Arsenal, who would be willing to bring him over to their respective academies.

Campbell is fearing that the arrival of Pep Guardiola, who is likely to splash the cash next season, at City could stunt the younger player’s development. This is why he is ready to leave.
West Ham would have to pay a compensation fee to Manchester City if they were to sign him, as he is under 23-years-old. Campbell is only 16-years-old.
