West Ham have reignited their interest in Celta Vigo and Spain attacker Nolito this summer, according to the Mirror.
The Hammers, well-known to be keen on adding to their attacking options this summer, have again turned to a possible deal for the winger-cum-striker.
Nolito scored 12 goals and recorded 7 assists in La Liga last term for Celta Vigo as they again enjoyed a strong campaign and has been linked with moves to Arsenal and Barcelona in recent months.
However, it’s the Hammers who appear to be readying the first move for the forward as they prepare an £8m bid.
The 29-year-old is currently with the Spain national squad at Euro 2016 and is widely expected to start on the left wing for them but he has a tendency to drift inside onto his right foot and let fly.
He’s carried his club form into international football of late having scored four goals in his last five appearances for Spain.
He has just one-year left on his deal, and at 29, this could be Nolito’s last chance for a big move in Europe and is available for a relatively low price considering his production.
Slaven Bilic sees Nolito as a Payet-esque transfer – an ageing attacker with undoubted quality and production who could add something to the team with immediate effect.
