The most likely move according to the report would be to the Bundesliga with both Wolfsburg and Schalke the favourites for his signature.

Despite playing second-fiddle to the record-breaking Gonzalo Higuain this season, Gabbiadini still managed to find the net nine times this season and record four assists in 30 appearances.

Despite interest from his homeland in Inter Milan and Bologna as well as from the Premier League with the Hammers, Tottenham and Stoke, Italian source Corriere dello Sport are confident that Gabbiadini will move to Germany this summer.

Wolfsburg tried and failed to sign the striker during the January transfer window but are hoping their efforts will be more fruitful this time around.
