West Ham linked with Ivory Coast international

West Ham are interested in signing Bournemouth winger Max Gradel, according to a report by Kieran Gill from The Mail.

The 28-year-old winger only signed for the South coast side in August 2015 and has hardly featured after he tore the cruciate ligament in his knee during the match against Leicester City in September.

He’s back fit now and will play in the remainder of Bournemouth’s games this year, but according to the report, West Ham will look to sign him in the summer.

The Hammers are apparently willing to pay £10million to sign him, which if accepted by Bournemouth, will mean Eddie Howe’s men will have made a £3million profit in just one year.

However, the Cherries are unlikely to sell the Ivorian international, despite interest from the Hammers as well as Inter Milan and Olympiakos, as they look to ensure that their second season in the top flight goes as well as their first.
