West Brom are considering whether they wish to re-ignite their interest in West Ham striker Diafra Sakho this summer after failing with an attempt to sign the Senegalese international in January, as per a report by Simon Jones in The Mail.
The 26-year-old is likely to leave the Hammers in the summer and West Brom, who will be in the market for a new striker, are considering trying to sign him once again.
Albion made an approach about Sakho’s availability in January but were informed that he was not for sale.
However, West Ham are looking to bring in two new forwards in the summer, meaning Sakho could be allowed to leave.
The striker seems to be in the bad books at Upton Park after reportedly storming off after being told that he would not be starting against Arsenal at the weekend.
West Ham have made it clear that they are looking to bring in at least one new striker so if wouldn’t be a huge surprise if Sakho was allowed to leave.
