Michail Antonio won West Ham player of the month for March.
With outstanding performances in every game this month, he impressed many Hammers fans and deserved such recognition.
Antonio originally struggled to break into the team after joining in the summer but is now the second top goal scorer for West Ham, with nine goals, trailing only to Dimitri Payet. He looks to have secured his place in the West Ham team and there are now calls for him to be given international recognition too.
Due to recent injuries and suspensions, Antonio has been forced to play out of position at right back. However, you wouldn’t realise that he was out of position. He played out of his skin in these matches and showed what a useful player he is.
Dimitri Payet challenged Antonio for this award, with the winning goal against Everton, an amazing freekick vs Manchester United and an all round performance against Chelsea, he was definitely in contention.
In honour if his achievements, I’ve looked at Antonio’s best four moments from March.
