West Ham are eyeing a move for Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony, according to reports in the Telegraph.
It’s thought that the Hammers’ top summer transfer target is Michy Batshuayi from Marseille but should that not materialise, the London club have listed Bony as an alternative.
Others on that list are Liverpool’s Christian Benteke and Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette.
One issue surrounding Bony, though, and to an extent Benteke, is their current wage figures at their respective clubs.
Co-Chairman David Sullivan has admitted that this could cause a problem for his club.

Both French-based players would represent more viable options with their wages being less inflated and their fees potentially being more reasonable.
Bony may well be up for the chop at City though, with incoming manager Pep Guardiola likely wanting to add some new faces to his squad.
Christian Benteke also looks out in the cold at Liverpool, with Jurgen Klopp reportedly chasing Mario Gotze.
West Ham do face stiff competition for Batshuayi from Tottenham Hotspur, who see the Belgian as a key target to support Harry Kane in their attack for next season.
